Sonija Kwok showed her love for her daughter by posting a photo of them on her microblog. In the photo, the Hong Kong actress was seen carrying her daughter who was dressed like a princess in a cute white dress.

According to the Hong Kong media, Sonija's daughter Kylie turned one two days ago. However, the Hong Kong actress revealed that she fell sick on that day. Despite that, the loving mother insisted on celebrating her beloved daughter's first birthday.

Leaving a comment on the photo posted on her microblog, the 38-year-old said, "Thanks everyone for the love you have shown towards my daughter. It's Kylie's first birthday today, but her mother fell sick. I think I was infected when she got her vaccine shot. I hope I can recover quickly so that I can spend an enjoyable time with my daughter!"

Earlier reports claimed that Sonija's marriage was on the rocks because she felt disgruntled that her husband, Chinese action choreographer Zhu Shaojie, brings home a smaller paycheck than her. It was also said that Sonija shoulders the responsibility of paying for her daughter's expenses and the monthly mortgage of their home in Hong Kong. In response to the rumours, the actress slammed the media for "creating trouble" and "distorting the truth".
