Tired with the many speculations concerning his relationship with his ex-wife and son and his absence at his father's wake, Gallen Lo recently shared that there was no issues to begin with and that they are all a family.
According to Popular Asians, Gallen denied rumours that he paid an extra HKD 8,000 to his ex-wife Clare Fong, as alimony to have a pretend dinner with his new wife, Sophie Su, and shared, "My wife, son, ex-wife and I have had dinner together numerous times. We even got together for my dad's birthday last year!"
The actor also explained that both he and Clare have accepted their situation and tolerated each other, a statement agreed upon by Clare, who said, "Although Gallen and I are divorced, it doesn't mean that it's entirely over between us."
"We've been together for more than 30 years and I have developed a close relationship with his family too. They treat me very well and I visit them often. I've already let go and I think we can still be friends," Clare added.
Both Gallen and Clare were also full of praises for their son for his optimistic view. Gallen enthused, "I really admire my son; he has a lot of patience and integrity. I don't see him often, but we send each other messages and always end off the conversation with 'love u'."
The actor also stressed that he will not back off from his intentions to sue the tabloids that defamed him, stating, "It was rather difficult getting to this point of peace in our relationship, so I won't allow the reporters to twist the truth about us."
