Hong Kong actor Andy Lau and his wife Carol Chu want a son so bad that they were seen praying at a temple for four hours, reported Hong Kong media. The couple only left with their bodyguards at around 10pm.

At his daughter's first birthday party earlier this month, Andy, who has always kept his private life low-profile, also opened up and revealed that he wishes to have a son as a new addition to the family.

In related news, the 51-year-old singer-actor has reportedly set aside a room for his second child in the family's new home.

Fiercely protective of his family's privacy, Andy reportedly bought a luxurious villa which is located in a secluded area in Hong Kong. Besides installing surveillance cameras all around the villa, the Hong Kong star also hired at least 10 bodyguards to protect his family.
