The Taiwanese actress was seen enjoying afternoon tea with a friend in Hong Kong
Following earlier reports claiming that longtime rumoured lovers Shu Qi and Stephen Fung have broken up, the Taiwanese actress was spotted on a date with a male friend in Hong Kong last Saturday.

Shu Qi met up with a male and female friend at Causeway Bay, and the trio visited a furniture store. The 37-year-old showed no signs of heartbreak as she laughed heartily while discussing about furniture prices with her two companions.

After window shopping, Shu Qi and her male friend had afternoon tea on their own while her female pal headed off elsewhere.

In response to reports of her rumoured new squeeze, the actress published a microblog post yesterday and wrote: 'I made an appointment to go to the doctor's and ended up getting stalked by the paparazzi. So I could only go home and exercise. Darn.'

In other related news, Shu Qi will be travelling to Beijing to resume filming for Hou Hsiao-Hsien's new movie The Hidden Heroine.
