According to Ettoday, the actor was surprised to find that his appearance at a promotional event for a watch brand on Chongqing, China, led to chaos when a group of mainland Chinese housewives who were determined to stand closer to the actor ended up in a scuffle.

It was reported that the culprits were four middle-aged female fans who tried to squeeze their way to the front despite that the event's venue was already packed with more than 10,000 fans from Chongqing and neighbouring areas.

A fight reportedly broke out when one of the fans refused to give up her spot, resulting in a brawl that involves tugging and strangling, and one of them was even seen beating the other with a plastic chair.

The scuffle went on for quite awhile and did not stop even when the police arrived. Raymond has yet to make any comments regarding the incident.
