Andy Lau ALways Concert World Tour will kick off on 11 September 2013 in Shanghai, for the concert's promotional poster, Andy was being poured water over his head for a total of 4 hours. The concert was named ALways which came out from the initials of his English name Andy Lau and ways, which meant forever which is what he wanted to tell his fans that his love for his fans will forever be unchanged. This concert tour followed his 2011 concert tour and designing of the poster had started 2 months beforehand, American imagine consultant being used by international brands Sean K and Hong Kong poster designer SK collaborate as they bought all white clothes from major brands in Hong Kong to create a new image for him.
The poster design was based on the moment of water coagulate, bringing out the idea of Always. At the shooting studio, a pool of water was added as Andy was like a model walking on water to have the effect of water splashing with crew members pouring water over him at different angles hoping to get one instant of alphabet "A". Although Andy was well known to be Mr. Nice Guy but the 2 crew members does not dare to pour water over his head, they were so nervous that they pour water into Andy's clothes thus drenching him, he joked: "You got more guts?" After the shooting, he did not forget to sing praise of himself: "Today I looked very handsome."
Andy said: "Actually in the poster, the splashing water in fact form an alphabet "A" which represents my English name – Andy. When I reached the studio, I looked so stylish and handsome but never expected the designer asked the crew members to splash water on me, initially they don't dare but later they were so delighted, we finally completed the shooting in 4 hours, I'm satisfied with the end product."
Andy's concert had already confirmed to be staged at 4 stops Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou and Beijing, the venue and date for Taiwan is still being discussed, the organizer will announce at a later date. With the announcement of the poster, it would be wide spread in shopping malls and bus stops in Shanghai.
