It was reported that legendary singer George Lam will be singing the theme song for the highly anticipated series sequel, "Triumph in the Skies 2".
As reported on HK Channel, the singer, who is famous for his many theme songs that include "And Yet We Live" and "Big Family", was chosen by TVB to replace the series' original theme song artiste, Eason Chan despite the popularity of his original opening number, "Next Year Today" for the hit TV series back in 2003.
Producer Au Koon Ying and Joe Chan stated, "A lot of viewers expressed their hopes to have Eason Chan singing the opening song again like he did before. But we decided to make a fresh start with George Lam, who has a lot of experience recording theme songs."
"Triumph in the Skies 2" will begin its broadcast on 15 July.
