In celebration of their 20thwedding anniversary, Joe Ma and his wife, Cheung Siu Lan, had participated in a series of wedding pictorial shoot in Hong Kong.
According to media reports, the project took place in early March and features heritage sites and historical architectural buildings in the city.
The couple had spared no effort for the pictorial, roping in renown British photographer Simon Wheatley and an elite team of Hong Kong crew for the shoot. The couple was also actively involved in the pre and post production of the project.
The couple had reportedly chosen to do the pictorial shoot in home grounds instead of popular spots like Paris or Okinawa because they felt that the city holds more meaning for them. Both husband and wife were born and bred in Hong Kong. It is said that the two had met each other as classmates in secondary school, and only reunited years later during a chance meeting on the streets. The pair then fell in love and got married.
It is said that Joe's wife continued to strive hard after marriage, and even went on to complete her postgraduate studies in China with their son in tow, whilst hubby Joe supported her back in Hong Kong.
Additionally, the couple will be hosting a grand celebratory dinner "JMK China Wedding Anniversary" on June 28, where all proceeds from the event will be donated to charity.
