Despite the recent disappointment and stress that he has experienced, HKTV's CEO Ricky Wong insisted that he will not be stopped.
As reported on Mingpao website, the businessman, who attended a lecture at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 17 October, received a round of applause and continuous cheers from the students upon his arrival.
Although he admitted that he is frustrated with the Hong Kong government's decision and felt that they been unfairly treated, Ricky exclaimed, "I am still determined. You can stop me once, but I will not be stopped the second time."
He also hoped that the young minds will learn more about social justice from his experience.
Meanwhile, stars that were hired earlier by Ricky to join HKTV, such as Ha Yu, Felix Wong, Yuen Wah, David Chiang, Samuel Kwok and Nina Paw are full of support for the HKTV owner.
Nina, who was a former ATV actress, stated "Ricky Wong may not be able to compete with i-Cable and PCCW financially, but he is very sincere about creating a TV station that Hong Kong citizens will love."
Others also expressed their wishes to join the public protest against the government's decision this weekend.
