Music producer Tang Chi Wai's resignation from TVB has brought about a lot of speculations, including that of the producer having been poached by good friend, actor Raymond Lam to partner with him in opening his own company.
However, as reported on Sina website, the "Baby Blues 3D" actor has recently dismissed such rumours, saying, "That is not possible. It is not a simple thing to do. There are already a lot of music companies out there."
When asked if Tang's resignation has something to do with TVB's joint venture with Star Shine International's Herman Ho, Raymond said, "I don't think it's related. I've never heard him say anything about that."
Meanwhile, Tang also denied rumours of a partnership with the actor, saying, "There is no plan for a new company yet. I just want to be independent in the meantime and experience the world."
Tang also revealed that he has already confirmed a new dubbing project for a mainland film, but denied that he is signing with another company.
"Although I have left TVB, maybe we can work together in a different kind of way," said the music producer.
