Like TVB, PCCW's Now TV is also be welcoming back their former employees that have been unfortunate enough to be part of HKTV's retrenchment plans.
As reported on On CC website, PCCW, which, together with i-Cable, has just obtained their free-to-air television license, revealed that they have received several phone calls from their former employees who asked to return.
Now TV's production manager, Ho Lai Chuen stated, "I have been following the news about HKTV's status and their recent retrenchment since the government's decision was announced. Our producers, Mui Siu Ching and Lau Kar Ho have the names of about 20 former employees that they will be interviewing."
Ho also confessed that he has personally contacted several other former employees, especially the ones from the non-entertainment department to return to Now TV.
In regards to Now TV's programming, Ho stated, "We have completed one drama at this moment, which is different from TVB and ATV. Another drama is currently in the pre-production stage, while the third one is still in draft."
