It seems that all is forgiven with director Wilson Chin, who was previously enraged by DaDa Chan's sudden withdrawal from his movie and the entertainment industry as a whole.
According to Apple Daily website, the director recently stated that he has no need for DaDa Chan's apology, after he was told that the actress will be making a comeback three months after her surprising retirement.
The "Lan Kwai Fong 3" director stated, "An apology is a small matter to me. What's important is DaDa's health. She was only acting on impulse when she decided to retire at that time."
When asked if he would work with her in future, Wilson replied, "The Hong Kong movie industry is small. It would all be fine after she explains herself."
However, the director was not as forgiving towards DaDa's manager Celia Sie, and insisted that she has to bear more responsibility as her handling of the issue was terrible.
In August, DaDa Chan suddenly decided to retire from show business and she made the announcement on her Weibo. Without explaining herself to her manager or the production companies that she was scheduled to work with, DaDa left the country to allegedly stay with some friends in Australia.
Her decision affected the filming for "Lan Kwai Fong 3" the most, as she left a few days before filming began, forcing the production team to change their script and find a replacement within a short period of time.
