Although Netizens have been criticising the 2014 TVB calendar, actresses Samantha Ko and Charmaine Sheh seemed to love how it turned out.
As reported on Wenweipo website, while speaking to the media, Samantha expressed her pleasure with the result of their hard work, saying that it was a great experience.
When talking about her own pose, the actress said, "I had a cramp in my leg during the photo shoot because I was asked to stretch it out so much. My legs were aching so badly!"
However, Samantha dismissed rumours that her legs were edited using Photoshop, and shared, "My picture was original. I am 5 foot 8 inches tall with a pair of 40-inch long legs, only second to Sharon Chan's 43-inch legs."
In regards to several other awkward tweaks that were pointed out, including Eric Tsang looking taller than Nat Chan, Samantha said, "What does it matter if he is standing behind or in front? The whole picture is the main point."
She also praised the photographer, CK, saying, "The photographer is very famous. Everyone's pose seen in the photos were actually done live, and not edited. Each time they [photography team] counted to three, we all made the pose and had continued on until the crew was satisfied."
Meanwhile, in another event, Charmaine Sheh also dismissed the criticisms, saying that it's a matter of opinion.
"TVB has been producing calendars for many years. This time, they wanted to add something new, so they added 3D effects to make the pictures look richer," said the actress.
