It was revealed that a grand memorial concert to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Anita Mui's passing will be held this December.

According to Kuang Ai TV website, the concert, which is slated for 30 December, will be organised and planned by her two good friends, Eric Tsang and Jacky Cheung, as well as her official fan club.

It was also reported that the money earned from the ticket sales will be donated to charities that focus on cancer research, as well as the construction of an elementary school in her name.

According to Anita's former manager, "The concert is scheduled to be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, but it's not finalised yet. Our plan B and C is the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre and an exhibition centre at the Hong Kong International Airport."

Among stars that have been invited to perform include Eason Chan, Andy Lau, Miriam Yeung, William So, and Anita's protégé, Denise Ho.

Meanwhile, a special exhibition will also be held from 28 to 30 December, where all of Anita Mui's items will be put on display, including the dazzling gold costume she wore to the New Talent Singing Competition which is currently in Denise Ho's possession.
