Last night Kenneth Ma, Mandy Wong, Tracy Chu and the rest of The Hippocratic Crush II (On Call 2) cast had a dinner gathering at Tseung Kwan O and watched the series premiere together. Lawrence Ng, Tavia Yeung and Him Law were absent. On Call 2 reached ideal TV ratings, the premiere episode averaged at 29 points and peaked at 31 points.

Since On Call 2 is an anniversary series, does Kenneth have high expectations on the ratings? He expressed he doesn't have much expectations, just hope the audience enjoy it and see how the reaction is like. Asked if he had confidence to be crowned TV King in HK? Kenneth was ready to lose: "This year there are many well qualified opponents for TV King, just like Francis Ng, Chilam Cheung and Roger Kwok. I'll be laughing if I made it in the top 5. If I do win, then I'll really be lucky! But I have no pressure at all."

It was rumored Tracy Chu became the third party in between Jason Chan and Sarah Song's relationship, after she filmed a travel show with Jason. She clarified she and Jason are just friends. "The report didn't have an impact on me, I won't feel unhappy about it. What's most important is the rumor didn't affect other people. I just treat the rumor as promotion for the series. I'm working everyday now, its hard to meet new people, so I don't think I have any pursuers. I'll think about relationships later, right now I'm concentrated on my work."

Earlier Kenneth Ma had rumors with his co-star Rebecca Zhu in Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles and when he learned Tracy Chu is clearly really dry now, he joked he hoped to have rumors with her. Mandy expressed she won't have as many kiss scenes in this sequel compared to the last because she made that suggestion to the producer in hope she and Benjamin Yuen's [relationship] becomes more implicit. Is it because she fears her boyfriend won't like her having too many kiss scenes? She said: "Nope! Also have to look at how the plot develops. If the producer says there is a kiss, then I'll do it."
