"We're only following the script," is what most of the cast of "Triumph In The Skies II" said when it comes to criticisms about the drama's technical mistakes, reported HK Channel.
"Triumph In The Skies II", which has successfully dethroned "Inbound Troubles" as the series with the highest-rated premiere, was not exempted from having its flaws pointed out, with a group of netizens claiming that the series failed to present the correct etiquette for pilots and cabin crews, as well as important airline rules and regulations.
To this, one of the series' stars, Elena Kong, stated that the carelessness was not intentional, as the cast and crew have tried their best in performing their roles with the limited knowledge they have about the airline industry.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Ma revealed that they have taken lessons and were observed by professionals on set to increase knowledge about pilot's scope of duties, but added, "For the first few episodes, the professional pilots were not there to oversee us due to scheduling conflicts. But we had our scripts run by them previously to ensure accuracy!"
When asked if netizens' meticulousness annoyed him, Kenneth replied no and complimented them for their attentiveness. The opinion was also supported by Julian Cheung, who stated that he does not mind the audiences' criticisms or ratings.
