According to Taiwanese media reports, the Hong Kong actor enjoyed a sudden rise in popularity with his latest drama A Happy Life, and was paid a total of TW$115.6 million (approximately SG$ 4.9million) for the show.
Basking in his renewed success, Benny also revealed that he is in the midst of preparing for his first production film. It is uncertain what the details are but the press is told to expect more news of the movie to be released in the latter half of the year.
Back at home, the 43-year-old actor and his Chinese model wife Lisa Jiang are expecting their second child in September, making it a bountiful year for the actor.
