He may be known as the Heavenly King to his fans, but the title means nothing to Jacky Cheung's children.
As reported on World Journal, the singer, who was in Taiwan to promote his 2010 "1/2 Century World Tour" concert album and celebrate his 52nd birthday with his fans on 20 July, stated that his 12-year-old daughter does not see him as a star at all.
Jacky, who married Hong Kong actress May Lo 17 years ago, spoke about his two daughters, age 12 and eight, "One of them has reached the early stage of puberty now and is only thinking about boys."
"I am not a celebrity in her eyes. She told me that she was more envious of her friends who got to see popular stars like Maroon 5 and Channing Tatum!" he lamented.
Jacky also complained about his daughters' tendency to take photos everywhere they went and said that his recent holiday trip to Australia is filled with photo-taking sessions.
Jacky will be releasing a Chinese album and produce another musical in Taiwan in the near future.
