According to Taiwan media reports, singer Khalil Fong, whose contract with Warner Music is due to end this year, has been receiving many love calls from various record labels.
One of such company is Sun Entertainment led by Gao Bogao. The record label had reportedly tried to use the singer's bosom buddy, Hong Kong singer actress Fiona Sit, to convince Khalil to jump ship over on their side. It is thought that with Fiona's connection, Khalil will be persuaded to make the move.
However, things did not go as planned, and Khalil was instead, lured over by Gold Typhoon, a company currently representing big names like Show Luo and Lollipop F.
The singer was reportedly persuaded to go onboard after the company's Italian born director promised to cater to his likings, for instance, an international accompanying band of musicians as well as world tours for concerts.
It has been reported that Khalil will be given a grand welcome with a press conference at Beijing Regent Hotels on August 7; the record label has also hired two new personal assistants for the singer.
With regards to the reports, Gold Typhoon said, "We will make the announcement when the time is right."
