The 2013 Forbes China's Top 100 Celebrities List was released yesterday. Chinese actress Fan Bingbing takes the lead with 110 million RMB (HK$138 million). Jay Chou and Andy Lau follow behind in rank 2 and 3. In 2004, Fan Bingbing was rank 27, last year she made a huge jump up to rank 3 and this year she successfully takes first place. This is her 10th year on the Forbes list.
Among the TVB Siu Sang and FaDans working in China, Kevin Cheng is ranked the highest (#48), Raymond Lam (#72) and Myolie Wu (#82) is the highest amongst the FaDans. Surprisingly Charmaine Sheh, who had started working in China earlier than Myolie didn't even make rank 100, but this also proves HK television artists are really making the "real" money in mainland China.
