With HKFA Best Actor Tony Leung (Kar Fai) recently expressing his agreement to participate in a TVB drama project, it was reported that there is a good chance that former TVB darling, Charmaine Sheh, will make her comeback too.
As reported on Asianpopnews website, the "Cold War" actor, who said that TVB blood is "flowing inside his body", is currently in discussions to participate in a new TVB drama project alongside Michael Miu and Raymond Lam.
The TVB project, said to be a 30-episode blockbuster series, has yet to find its leading lady and TVB is worried that their new generation A-listers will not be able to fit well with the silver screen heavyweight.
Sources claimed that TVB has thus cast its sight on "When Heaven Burns" actress Charmaine Sheh, who left the station in 2011, to play the female lead in the drama.
Meanwhile, Charmaine recently confirmed the rumour, but stated, "There was some preliminary discussion. I also wish to work with Tony and Michael. I will have to see if my schedule is able to fit [with TVB's filming schedule] and I will try my best to clinch the collaboration."
Meanwhile, the filming for the yet-to-be-titled drama is expected to begin in January next year.
