Actor Raymond Lam recently dismissed rumours that have been swirling around regarding his relationship with TVB and plans to establish his own company.
As reported on HK Channel website, the actor recently sat down to address the rumours and stated, "This is not the first time that I have been plagued with such baseless rumours. I have been in the industry for more than 10 years now and it's quite ridiculous that such things are still affecting my family."
In regards to rumours of a falling out with TVB executive Virginia Lok, Raymond stated, "We just had a meal together recently and often see each other at the company. How is it that I am ignoring her like it was reported?"
The actor also stated that he enjoys working with TVB and that they are not in any rush to negotiate the renewal of his contract at the moment, not because he will not be continuing his working relationship with the company.
He also denied speculations that he is starting his own company or even asking Kate Tsui to join, saying, "Such business ventures would take too much time and focus. I never really considered owning my own company. If I had to enter into business, I would work for my family."
