Winner of the second season of "The Voice", Mag Lam, recently made a comeback with a new Cantonese album.
As reported on Oriental Daily website, last year was an unfruitful one for the 23-year-old singer as she sustained an injury to her vocal cords, which forced her into hiatus, and an alleged eating disorder. However, on 26 September, the singer released her new album, entitled "District 23".
The album, produced by Carl Wong and Schumann, consists of 10 powerful songs that encourage listeners to take charge in life.
Mag also wrote two songs in the album, "Soap" and "Time". The former is the album's first single, and sends an anti-bullying message of not being afraid of unfounded criticism and turning the negative into positive.
Meanwhile, her record company EEG also created an ethereal-looking image for the singer's album cover to suit the theme of her songs, featuring Mag with light pink hair in a white dress against the backdrop of Tai Po's nature.
