For this year's Miss Hong Kong pageant, due to system error, the citizen's voting was cancelled thus making it a joke, the performance segments were criticized as boring, only Andy Lau and magician Mr. Cyril Takayama magic performance created some stir. It is said that Andy who has profound insight had already secretly signed up Mr. Cyril and would staged show for him to help him venture into the Hong Kong market!It is said that Andy willing to be the judge for 2012 Miss Hong Kong pageant is partly due to Mr. Cyril, no wonder he was the manager of him be in on or off stage as he brought Mr. Cyril to meet and introduce to TVB management, also took photograph with Kay Tse On Kei, Grasshoppers and Eric Tsang. It's reported that Andy will help Mr Cyril to venture into Hong Kong market, staged show for him and there will be a series of major promotion plans.
As Andy was currently busy shooting Blind Detective, he will be coming up with ideas for the magic show after shooting completes.
Meanwhile the top 3 Miss Hong Kong, Carat Cheung, Jacqueline Wong， Tracy Chu and "Trendy Vision Award" winner Jennifer Shum collected their prizes at Puyi Group optical shop. With regards to TVB arranging 3rd placing Tracy to collaborate with Andy in a drama as consolation, Tracy said: "Collaborating with Andy does not consider as consolation, everyone would like to collaborate with Andy. (Carat Cheung also want?) There will be more than one character in a drama. (There would be only one female lead!) Let the company to arrange!"
When asked on the above allegation, 1st place Carat exclaimed: "I feel that the company need not console Tracy, she's delighted to win 3rd place." When asked who would she like to collaborate in a drama, she said: "Of course it's Andy Lau! On the night of the final, he was so close as he called my name. (So you're fighting with Tracy over Andy?) No need to fight, the company will do all the arrangements."
Meanwhile, Andy and Sammi Cheng's Blind Detective had location shooting at Mongkok last night which attract huge number of onlookers. Sammi's nanny car drove to a food store at Shantung Street around 7:00pm which create a commotion, when the citizens saw Sammi, several of them walked onto the road which is rather dangerous as traffic police were called to understand the situation, the crew members also urged everyone to be careful. Sammi was dressed causally first discussed the route she should take with director Johnnie To before holding a piece of note and went into the food store to packet food. Although it's a short scene, the perfectionist director requested Sammi to re-do the scene several times. To prevent any disorder, Sammi went back to her nanny car to rest after shooting each scene.
