Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2012 was held at TVB City last night, as it was the pageant's 40th anniversary, the organizer specially invited several guests to show rapport.

Before the pageant started, a red carpet ceremony was arranged as all the guests dressed up to make an appearance, several female artistes wore sexily showing off their cleavage resulting the temperature of the ceremony raised. The most eye catching was Carina Lau as she wore a Deep V green dress which revealed her chest. Andy Lau who was dressed in black western suit walked down the red carpet with Carina. The media were fighting to take photos of Carina, even Andy had to stand aside.

Andy and Carina were invited to be the judges to add some glamour to the pageant.

Andy was asked by Eric Tsang why did he missed out so many years' pageants and came this year? Andy quipped: "Because I have free time this year, so I came to familiarize with the environment and see whether I can return to shoot a drama." When asked of his judging criteria, he said: "Long hair, pretty." Eric then added: "Are you referring to the one at your home?" Andy burst into laughter and did not give any answer.

Other than coming as a judge, he also collaborated with international known magician Cyril Takayama in a performance. When Cyril requested to borrow Andy's ring for his performance, even just became a father, Andy quipped that he's still single before bursting into laughter and also won the audience applause. Andy quipped: "I don't wear ring, because I'm single!"

They performed Transformation as Cyril tele-port Andy who was initially sitting among the audience onto the box on the stage, which brought the atmosphere of the pageant to new heights.

Andy exclaimed that initially he was to perform alone, fearing not meeting the standard, thus Cyril was invited to perform, he quipped that he was just the "female assistant" in magic performances!
