Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng collaborate again in Blind Detective, they had a location shooting in the busy Mongkok, the appearance of heavenly king and queen, it attracted thousands of onlookers as they wanted to catch a glimpse of them resulting heavy traffic in Mongkok. Police was called to understand the situation, but it did not affect the shooting.

Two night ago, Andy and Sammi made an appearance in the busy Mongkok, they were shooting Blind Detective which was directed by Johnnie To, jam packing Mongkok, creating a commotion, some shops even closed their shops to prevent any accident from happening.

Sammi already arrived at the shooting venue in the afternoon, shooting a scene which required her to carry 6-7 packets of take-aways and dashed across the road, luckily she managed to complete the scene fast and she immediately went to rest at the temporary set-up tent or her nanny car, this arouses the curiosity of the citizens as they went to take a peek, hoping to know what's happening in the tent.

When Andy made an appearance, the people's spirit got higher. Andy who was once voted to be the people's Chief Executive, his appearance in the busy street does not lose out to some political figures, he was close to the citizens as he waved to them.

Facing such a crowd, when called for shooting, Andy did not get nervous as he easily get into his character in Blind Detective. He wore the trench coat and used blind man's cane to find his way, he was not affected by the environment, his image in the film was revealed for the first time.

To prevent commotion, when not shooting, he would wait in his nanny car or help directing the traffic. He also chatted with the reporters, everybody was happy seeing him thus they moved forward, the crew members had not choice but to pull the ropes to allow Andy to pass.

Although Andy and Sammi collaborated in this film, but they don't have a scene together, not matter that they shoot their individual scenes, it would still make director Johnnie To brain-storming in the tent.

Whenever they emerged from the tent, it would caused commotion, the shooting ended past midnight and the crowd still yet dispersed.
