At around midnight, she wrote: "We did not know how to treasure each other in the past. My dear, if we survive the end of the world today [Dec 21], and you are keen to try again, we must not miss this chance to get together once more."
In Shu Qi's previous microblog posts, she referred to Stephen as "dear" and her recent post invited that she is publicly declaring her love for rumoured boyfriend, Hong Kong director-actor Stephen Fung.
The couple became friends when they were acting in movie "Bishonen" in 1998. An alleged relationship between them surfaced when they were seen together overseas on many occasions earlier this year. The pair has constantly denied dating and maintained that they are just "very, very, very good friends".
On the other hand, some of the starlet's fans deduced that a reconciliation is in the works for Shu Qi and newly-single former boyfriend, Hong Kong "heavenly king" Leon Lai.
The pair started dating when they co-starred the movie "City of Glass" in 1998 and broke up in 2004. Leon married model Gaile Lok in 2008 and just announced his separation in October this year.
