They are publicly showing their affection for each other in their new romance drama, "Sheng Xia Wan Qing Tian". Recently, it was reported that celebrity couple Hawick Lau and Yang Mi will be singing a duet for said drama.
As reported on Jayne Stars, Yang Mi invited her good friend, Tan Xuan, the theme song composer of her popular drama, "Palace", to create the drama's theme song, "If Love Turns Old".
Combining light pop melodies and a classical violin solo, "If Love Turns Old", is a fitting music for the drama's fantasy-like love story, especially when it blends Hawick's deep voice with Yang Mi's flirty voice.
The mainland drama "Sheng Xia Wan Qing Tian" - Hawick's debut work as producer, premiered on 15 February and is currently airing to generally favourable reception on Hunan Jingshi station.
The drama revolves around the character Xia Wanqing (Yang Mi), the stern heiress of the Hua Xia Holdings, who is involved in a business conflict that ruins her reputation in the real estate business. However, the womanising Qiao Jinfang (Hawick Lau), the only heir to a large business conglomerate, believes in Wanqing, decides to help her out by taking her hand in marriage.
