It was revealed that disciples of martial arts director Lau Kar-leung's classmates will be performing a lion dance to bid him farewell at his funeral service on 23 July.
As reported on Sina, sources revealed that nine major martial arts school including Hung Kuen, Choy Li Fuet, and White Crane, will send their representatives to participate in the lion dance as their farewell performance for the late Lau Kar-leung.
It was also disclosed that his disciple, Sin Kwok Lam, will be carrying out the White Lion dance with over 100 more disciples at the actual funeral on 24 July, as well performing the three-step kowtow and nine-step kneeling ceremony at Lau Kar-leung's resting place at the Universal Funeral Parlour.
Applications for the performances have already been sent to the government for approval.
Earlier it was reported that Master Lau's friends like John Tsang, Shek Chi Bun, Karl Maka, John Chiang Dai Wai, Yasuaki Kurata, Chi Kuan-Chun, Tong Kai and Nat Chan Pak Cheung will be his pallbearers.
